Plagiarism Policy

Nous Academy Journal will scan articles sent to the journal through software like IThenticate etc., and reject the articles containing plagiarism. Although there is no plagiarism, papers with a high similarity rate that harms originality will not be published similarly.

Criteria to consider in this case:

  1. Even if the plagiarism rate % is 1, the journal rejects the article.
  2. The similarity rate can be up to 20% at the most.
  3. The similarity rate to a particular source must be less than 3% within the similarity rate.
  4. The similarity rate does not include footnotes and bibliography.
  5. The editor can check for similarity at every stage of the publication process. The detected rate of excessive similarity or plagiarism may cause the end of the article process.
  6. All authors submitting to the journal are deemed to have accepted the rules mentioned above. The author, who somehow plagiarized despite the journal's precision, is responsible for this violation of academic ethics.
